Amanda is a Personal Trainer with nearly a decade of experience. She specialises in exercise for changing bodies, and a big part of her career has been working with older adults.
Amanda has noticed two common challenges - information can be tricky to access or understand, and health professionals like GPs, physios, and personal trainers can’t easily collaborate to empower older adults with more confidence and better health support overall.
She’s found that simple, printable exercise sheets—such as stretching routines and exercise plans—are very effective. These easy-to-follow guides can help maintain a regular exercise routine and can be shared with health professionals to improve communication about their goals and exercise. This is how the My Active Resource Kit was created.
My Active Pathway shows adults simple ways to stay active, practical tools to improve their health, and helps bring together exercise professionals and healthcare providers so older adults feel confident and better supported with exercise and overall wellbeing.
